How to Choose a Custom Canvas Bag

Four decisions settle almost every canvas bag order: how heavy the canvas is, what shape you need, what size, and how your logo is printed. Work through them in that order.

Choose Your Canvas Weight

• 5oz (about 70–80g for an A3 bag): the lightest and lowest-cost option. Suits event giveaways and goodie bags.
• 8oz: the everyday middle. Holds its shape better, suits retail and roadshow bags.
• 10oz: thicker and sturdier, for staff welcome kits and client gifts.

Choose Your Shape

• Flat tote, no base (35 × 38cm): the most economical A3 bag; folds flat.
• Tote with base (37 × 8 × 40cm, or landscape 43 × 10 × 33cm): stands up and carries boxes and bottles more easily.
• Square with base and sides (35 × 10 × 35cm): the most volume.
• Foldable with front pocket (A3 36 × 41cm, A4 33 × 38cm).

Common Mistakes Before You Order

• Choosing 5oz for heavy contents such as bottles or books. Pick 8oz or heavier, with a base.
• Very fine lines and tiny text in the logo. Canvas has a visible weave, so keep details bold.
• Ordering for a date inside 12–14 working days. Ask about selected ready-stock styles, printed with your logo in 5–7 working days.
• Sending a JPG logo. Send AI, PDF or EPS with fonts outlined.

What is the minimum order for custom canvas bags?

20pcs per design on most canvas bags. Full-colour A3 print starts from 200pcs, and add-ons such as lining or zippers from 100pcs.

How long does canvas bag printing take?

Standard lead time is 12–14 working days after you approve the artwork. Selected ready-stock canvas bags can be printed with your logo in 5–7 working days. Some items differ, so contact us with your date.

How much do custom canvas bags cost?

Our Canvas Tote Bag is $3.63/pc at 100pcs, $2.90/pc at 500pcs and $2.39/pc at 1,000pcs. Heavier canvas, more colours or extra print positions add to that.

Can I get a sample before the bulk order?

Yes. A sample with your logo is about $136 to $150 depending on the style, and a plain sample about $75 to $100. On selected styles the sample fee is refunded 50% on orders of 500 to 1,000pcs and 100% above 1,000pcs.

Can I print on both sides, or in several colours?

Yes. You can print in up to 4 positions and 4 colours, or in full colour. Each extra position or colour adds a small per-piece charge that falls with quantity.

What artwork format do you need?

AI, PDF or EPS with fonts outlined. We send a digital mock-up for your approval before production starts.
